Communication and Updates
We aim to respond to all messages within a reasonable timeframe,
usually within 1–3 working days. You will be kept informed of:
- Key developments or delays in your matter
- Any changes in the cost or scope of work
- Any action we need you to take
We may communicate with you by phone, post, email or in person, depending on your preference and the nature of the matter.
Costs and Transparency
Before we begin any work, we will give you clear information about:
- The total cost (or hourly rate if fixed fees are not suitable)
- What is included in the price
- Any likely disbursements or third-party costs
- VAT status (we do not charge VAT on legal fees)
- When and how payments are due
You will receive a client care letter confirming the terms of engagement and
your right to ask questions before agreeing.
Confidentiality and Privacy
We treat all information you give us as confidential, unless we are required to disclose it by law (for example, to prevent a crime or comply with anti-money laundering obligations).

Complaints and Concerns
If you are unhappy with any aspect of our service, we encourage you to raise it as soon as possible. We will take your concern seriously and aim to resolve it promptly.
We have a written Complaints Procedure which includes your right to contact the Legal Ombudsman or the Solicitors Regulation Authority if needed.
