Based in Tower Hamlets and working across Redbridge, Barking and Dagenham, and Havering, we’re here to help you take that first step.
Are You Feeling Unsafe at Home or in Your Relationship?
If someone you know, a partner, ex, or family member, is harassing or threatening you, you don’t need to stay silent.
The CMS uses a standard formula based on the paying parent’s income, number of children, and overnight stays. However, private arrangements are often more flexible and based on what both parties consider fair.
We help you understand which route is suitable and how to formalise an agreement.
We support women and families facing
- Verbal or physical abuse
- Control, stalking, or intimidation
- Threats, pressure, or fear at home
- Isolation from friends, family, or support
We understand the impact this has. Not just on you, but also on your children, your mental health, and your sense of safety. You can speak to us in confidence. There is no pressure.
What is a Non-Molestation Order?
A non-molestation order is a legal order from the Family Court. It protects you from someone who has been violent, threatening, or emotionally abusive.
Once made, it can stop them from
- Coming to your home, workplace, or child’s school
- Calling, texting, messaging, or asking others to contact you
- Using intimidation, harassment, or threats, whether directly or indirectly
It applies to anyone you’ve had a personal relationship with. This includes
- Your husband, wife, or ex-partner
- Someone you lived with
- A family member
- Your child’s other parent
If the order is broken, it becomes a criminal offence. The police can arrest the person if they breach it.
What’s the Process Like?
We’ll guide you through every step and move quickly where needed.
1. Private Chat
We begin with a safe, no-obligation conversation. If you prefer, we can speak to someone you trust on your behalf.
2. Preparing the Application
We help you complete Form FL401, your statement, and any documents needed. If you’re worried about safety, we can ask the court to keep your address private.
3. Gathering Evidence
We support you in collecting useful evidence. This might include messages, photos, police or GP reports. If you don’t have formal records, that’s OK.
4. Urgent Court Hearing
If you’re at risk, we apply without notice. The other person won’t know until the order is made and you’re protected.
5. Serving the Order
The order is legally served to the person. In some cases, this can be done by email or other secure methods.
6. Full Hearing
A few days or weeks later, there will be a full court hearing. We’ll attend with you and make sure you’re supported and prepared.

Most non-molestation orders last for six to twelve months. If you need more time, you can ask the court to extend it.
Breaking the order is a criminal offence. The police can arrest them. In serious cases, they may face a fine or even prison.

An undertaking is a signed promise not to contact or harass you. If accepted by the court, it replaces a formal order. We’ll help you decide if this is the right choice.
